There are HIT specific programs out there if that is really what you are interested in. Check out www.cahiim.org/ ...you can search for masters level program specifically focused on informatics. |

I dont think any of those degrees are the degree to get to getting into health IT, you usually just need to get some experience although having an MHA/MPH or Healthcare MBA can help you get into heatlhcare IT consulting or get you a job at an EMR vendor like Epic. |

I would focus less on the degree and more on getting the right experience, whether through an internship or a regular job, thats what will help you land a job.
